University of California, Berkeley, Nova Southeastern University and Williams College claimed the top spots in the first regular season USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I, II and III Collegiate Rowing Poll presented by Pocock Racing Shells.
California earned 15 first-place votes and a total of 468 votes to top the Division I poll. The Ohio State University took the No. 2 spot with six first-place votes, followed by the University of Virginia in the No. 3 spot with four first-place votes.
In the Division II poll, Nova Southeastern held its first-place pre-season ranking with all five first-place votes and 200 total votes. Barry University remained in the No. 2 spot with 157 votes and Western Washington University rounded out the top three with 156 votes.
In the Division III poll, Williams also held its preseason No. 1 ranking with seven first-place votes and 145 votes. Bates College moved up to the No. 2 spot with two first-place votes, followed in the No. 3 spot by William Smith College. No. 4 Trinity College earned one first-place vote.
