Princeton University once again claimed the top spot in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll, while Western Washington University and Smith College topped the Division II and Division III polls, respectively.

In Division I, Princeton earned 21 of 25 first-place votes to remain atop the poll. The University of Michigan earned one first-place vote and moved up to No. 2, while Harvard University moved into the third position. Yale University and the University of California at Berkeley, which received the remaining three first-place votes, rounded out the top five.

Western Washington University earned four of five first-place votes to take the top spot in the Division II poll. Nova Southeastern moved up one spot to No. 2, while last week’s No. 1 team, Mercyhurst College, fell to No. 3. Mercyhurst earned the remaining first-place vote.

In the Division III poll, Smith College once again was a unanimous No. 1 selection, earning all eight first-place votes. Ithaca College ranked second, followed by Williams College, Trinity College and University of Puget Sound.
