Brown University, Barry University, and Bates College claimed the top spots in the third regular season USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I, II and III Collegiate Rowing Poll presented by Pocock Racing Shells.
After another strong weekend of racing Brown University holds the top spot in the Division I poll for the second week in a row with 23 first place votes, and a total of 490 votes. The University of California, Berkeley stayed in the No. 2 spot with two first-place votes. And in third place in this weeks poll we have a tie between the University of Virginia and Ohio State University, both with 411 votes.
In the Division II poll, Barry University held its first-place ranking, securing all five first-place votes and 200 total votes. Second and third place in the Division II this week saw more movement and the University of Central Oklahoma moved up into the No. 2 spot with 125 votes, and Nova Southeastern jumped up to the No. 3 spot with 115 total votes.
In the Division III poll we saw our first change at the top this season, with Bates College claiming the top spot with seven first-place votes and 146 total votes. Williams College now sits in the No. 2 spot with three first place votes and 144 total votes. And remaining in the No. 3 spot for the third consecutive week is Wellesley College with 121 votes.
