University of California, Berkeley, Barry University, and Wellesley College, all 2016 NCAA national champions, topped the postseason USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Collegiate Rowing Polls presented by Pocock Racing Shells. The final Division III poll of the year was a couple of weeks ago.
The University of California, Berkeley earned 25 first place votes, and a total of 488 total votes to take the No. 1 spot after their team championship at NCAA’s last weekend. Ohio State University claimed the No. 2 spot with 475 total votes. And University of Virginia claimed third place with 415 total votes.
In the Division II poll, Barry University held its first-place ranking again, securing all five first-place votes and 200 total votes. The University of Central Oklahoma stayed the No. 2 spot with 175 total votes. And Western Washington University jumped up in to the No. 3 spot this week with 150 total votes.
In the Division III poll, Wellesley College shot into first place after their NCAA Championship win with all ten first place votes and 150 total votes. Williams College ended the season in the No. 2 spot with 140 total votes, and Wesleyan University remained in the No. 3 spot with 130 total votes.
