Stanford University earned the No. 1 ranking in this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll. Mercyhurst College and Williams College took the top spots in the Division II and III polls, respectively.

Stanford continued to top the Division I rankings, earning 20 of 25 first-place votes. Cal ranked second, followed by Michigan State University. The Spartans received the remaining five first-place votes. Brown University and Yale University rounded out the top five.

Mercyhurst received all four first-place votes to remain atop the Division II poll. Western Washington University ranked second, followed by Seattle Pacific University.

Williams College received all seven first-place votes to top the Division III poll, while Trinity College ranked second. Ithaca College, Bates College and the University of Puget Sound rounded out the top five.
